As many of you are aware, the Post Office imposed a ridiculous ban on the delivery of paints last year, preventing traders from shipping more than three pots of paint as a single item. This meant that it was deemed perfectly safe to post a half litre can of paint, but wargamers ordering four 20ml paint pots risked having their consignments intercepted and destroyed without warning. This was forcing up the cost of paint, as traders were obliged to make multiple shipments out of one order adding hugely to the postal charge.
The on-line petition that some of you signed has succeeded in persuading the Post Office to revise this policy. You will be pleased to hear that the restriction has been revised, so that a delivery can contain any number of paints, so long as the containers do not exceed 150mls.
