Here are the details on the 40k PAW rules pack.  The pack will be subject to change when the Chapter Approved book is released in December.

The tournament will take place over the weekend of the 3rd & 4th of February 2018. There will be 4 games (2 on each day).

Registration will be at 9:00 AM on Saturday.

Army List Restrictions

This is a 2,000 point tournament.

Armies have to be bound.

The following detachments are allowed: Patrol, Battalion, Brigade, Supreme Command, Super-Heavy Auxiliary, Fortification & Auxiliary Support.

The Vanguard, Spearhead, Outrider, Air wing & Super-Heavy detachments will NOT be allowed.

Players must take a primary detachment which has to be either the Battalion or Brigade. Players can take any of the other allowed detachments up to their points limit. Please note there is a 0-1 limit on the Super-Heavy Auxiliary & Fortification detachments.

There is a 600 point limit on the 0-1 Lord of War (Super-Heavy Auxiliary). There is a 200 point limit on any Fortification taken. There is also a 0-1 limit on the Fortification detachment.

If your army includes at least one psyker you need to roll for any powers instead of picking them for each game.

Warlord Traits also have to be randomly determined as well unless your Warlord is a special character with a fixed trait.

Primarchs are obviously allowed (don't forget the 600 point limit & only 1 allowed!)

All armies must be painted & based to a decent table-top standard. Players must also bring 6 objective markers which MUST be on 40mm bases.

Army lists are to be taken from either your relevant Codex or Index. A Codex has to have been released at least 1 CALENDAR month before the tournament.
