A 28mm game using the At the Gates of Troy rules. The Trojan War was a legendary 10-year conflict in Greek mythology between the Achaeans (Greeks) and the city of Troy, sparked by Paris of Troy eloping with Helen, wife of Spartan King Menelaus. Led by Menelaus's brother Agamemnon, a massive Greek force besieged Troy until their cunning use of the Trojan Horse led to the city's downfall. Immortalized in Homer's Iliad, the war features famous heroes like Achilles and Hector and blends myth with potential historical conflicts of the Late Bronze Age. |
