More pictures from PAW 2010, this time of the armies in use in the various competitions that were run over the weekend. Many thanks to all the players who took part in the competitions, and to the organisers of each one.
Other participation and display games are on the Games page, and pictures of the Trophy winning games are on the Winners page.
Warhammer Fantasy Battle was once again well supported, with 28 players. It was very ably run by long-time PAW Member Kevin Shillito
Warhammer 40K This year saw 32 players take part. Special thanks are due to John Orange, Clive Dudley, Orlando Murrish and the Cross Swords team, who provided the terrain for this competition - the Cross Swords tables were especially good.
Umpire Martin Binns did a really good job of keeping things flowing, using a spreadsheet on his laptop to total scores and work out the next round
Our longest running competition is the 25mm Ancients, now using the Field of Glory rules.
Here are a selection of pictures of some of the armies that took part.
In 2009, we added 15mm Ancients to the mix. Here are some of the armies that took part this year.
New in 2010 was Flames of War.
