Tournament Format

There will be 5 games (3 Saturday and 2 Sunday), and all games will be 2.5 hours in length.
All games will use ITC rules, and use the ITC format. The event however, will NOT be a ITC ranking event.

All players are to use (if possible) the ITC Battle App for their games for scoring etc. The App is free to download from the App Store/Google Play sites.  All results MUST be logged into the BCP App (see below), which the ITC App can link to.

Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd. Best Army (judged by Kirton Games) and Best Individual Single Character Model (Also judged by Kirton Games).  The last-placed player will receive the ‘Cursed Die’ Award.  That player will need to provide a Die for the following year’s event.

Army Lists

Armies must be a maximum of 2000 points, with a maximum of 3 Detachments per army.  All lists must be Battle Forged.

Any Codex released by January 1st, 2020 may be used in the tournament.  The new edition of Codex: Sisters of Battle is expected to arrive too late for this deadline, so anyone wishing to take Sisters of Battle in their army or as part of their army must take the unit entries/rules/stratagems etc from Chapter Approved 2018

All lists must be submitted using the Best Coast Pairings (BCP) App, and MUST be submitted no later than Sunday the 12th of January, 2020.

Tournament Rules

The ground floor of scenery pieces such as ruins are LOS (Line of Sight) blocking.

All games will use the Matched Play Rules from Chapter Approved 2018 (Page 47).

Acceptable Casualties: The Matched Play rules for Sudden Death will NOT be used for any of the games.

All games MUST have equal Battle Rounds with a minimum of 2 Rounds played, and a maximum of 6 Rounds.

All armies to be WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get). Any armies that have different factions in the same list but still share the same main keyword (for example a Tyranid army having Kraken in one detachment and Behemoth in another) MUST be modelled and painted accordingly.

Any units that can have additional models such as gun crews must have the required number of models in the unit and must be placed on the board.

All players MUST have the relevant Codices/Indexes for their army, and have the latest FAQs and Errata, as well as the Warhammer 40,000 Rulebook and Chapters Approved 2018 and 2019.

All players must provide 6 Objective Markers. They are to be on 40mm (Terminator) Bases if possible. Some games use less than 6 markers, but players still need to have 6 markers with them.

All armies must be painted to a decent standard and must be based. Just having three random colours on models will not be permitted.

Lunch: 11.30 PM (1 Hour)
Game Two: 12.30 PM: Precious Cargo. Deployment: Search and Destroy.
Game Three: 3.15 PM: What Yours Is Mine. Deployment: Spearhead Assault.

Sunday
Registration: 9.00 AM
Game Four: 9.30 AM: Seize Ground. Deployment: Front-Line Assault.
Lunch: 12.00 PM. (1 Hour).
Game Five: 1.00 PM: Cut To The Heart. Deployment: Vanguard Strike.
Prize Giving Ceremony: 4.00 PM.
